We talked about Verb Patters. We can distinguish four groups:
1) Verbs followed by another verb in -ING form: I fancy going out tonight
2) Verbs followed by another verb in Infinitive form: I can't afford to go abroad on holiday.
3) Verbs + Ing or To with NO difference in meaning: like, love, prefer, start... Check this information.
4) Verbs Verbs + Ing or To WITH difference in meaning. Check this information.
