Diagnóstico + Presentations

Hi everybody!

This week you've done your presentations with Rita and we've revised the Prueba de Diagnóstico. I gave you a photocopy with structures that you have to study for next Tuesday.

Remember that it's really important that you read all the exercises carefully and that you follow my tips.

2º B1 Exam Unit 7

Hi everyone,

This week has been special because we celebrate the Food Fair and the class 2ºA took part not only in the decorations but also in the food stalls of Spain and Italy.  Thanks for your collaboration, motivation and great enthusiasm. 

Now remember that next Wednesday 2nd May is the exam from unit 7. Yesterday I copied on the board the grammar and vocabulary contents that you have to study and yesterday and today we've done lots of exercises to practice.

2º B1 Week 26-02/02-03

Hi everyone!

This week you've come from Winchester and we've gone back to normal! We don't have much time to practice unit 6, so it's important that you study at home this weekend. Yesterday we translated and practiced the vocabulary and today I've explained the Past Perfect. It's essential that you study the list of Irregular Verbs (the three columns, you've got the list at the end of the Workbook and the Student's Book)

The exam is next Friday, the 9th March. These are the contents for the exam:

Unit 5
Grammar: Can/can't/could/couldn't  // Comparative and Superlative Adverbs
Vocabulary: Life stages // Verbs: lifestyle

Unit 6
Grammar: Present Perfect
Vocabulary: Jobs // Holidays

This weekend.... Homework, page 73, exercise 9 and you've got to study!!!!!

2º B1 Week 12-16th February 2018

Hi everyone!

This week we have only had two lessons because you've been having fun on two school trips!

Yesterday we corrected our homework and explained the comparative and superlative adverbs and today you've done the video standard.

We've finished unit 5 so you should study the grammar and the vocabulary.

2º B1 Week 5-9th February 2018

Hi everyone,

This week you've had conversation class with Miguel and you've done the exam corresponding to unit 4.

Today in class I gave you your marks and we've studied the vocabulary from unit 5.2 (activity verbs and expressions related to activities that young people do) and we've quickly explained the grammar from 5.2 (don't worry if you don't understand because I'll explain it again next week.

Next Tuesday we don't have class because you're going on a school trip, so you've some homework to do for Wednesday.

Writing and Book

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year 2018!

I hope you charged your batteries during the holidays because this term, we're going to start with a lot of energy!

Next Wednesday 17th January, you're doing your first writing: an informal e-mail on the topic of Christmas Holidays and New Year's Resolutions.

Also, remember that on Tuesday 23rd January you have to do the Book Exam so you have to read your story (Dracula/The Jungle Book) and bring the book to class next week, please!

Merry Christmas!

Hi dear students!

The first term is finally over and we have begun our well deserved holidays.

For those of you who failed the Grammar Standard, you have to do some grammar and vocabulary exercises during the Christmas break. I gave you the photocopies in class last week.

For everybody, don't forget that you have to read a book because on Monday 22nd of January you'll do the Book Test.

Final Exam 2º B1 First Term

Hi everyone!

As you know, next Tuesday 12th December it's our final exam. You'll have to do Reading, Grammar and Vocabulary Unit 2 and 3. On Thursday 14th we'll do listening and a questionnaire.

Here you have some online exercises to revise for the exam:
