Hello!
Last week was quite a hard one for you since you did lots of exams (writing retake, reading and grammar and vocabulary). This last Wednesday you did a listening exam too.
Yesterday and today we've also carried on studying the contents of unit 4: present perfect continuous and its contrast with present perfect simple.
This is your homework for the weekend:
- Student's Book, page 115, exercise 2
- Workbook, page 33, exercises 1, 3, and 4.
This is the explanation that I used in class today. As you can see, in the document you've got an explanation of past perfect continuos + exercises + an explanation of the contrast between past perfect simple and continuous + exercises + answer key. It's not compulsory to do the activities but they'd help you to understand better the use of this new verb tense, especially to those of you who haven't studied it before.
Besides, those students who don't remember very well what a state or stative verb is, check this explanation from the British Council.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Gloria
