Hi everyone!
Last Monday you did a test to practice your listening and reading skills and you got your results on Wednesday. Most of you got very good results, well done! And for those who aren't happy with their results: don't worry and keep working hard!
On Wednesday, we practiced word formation by adding prefixes to adjectives. Remember that all grammar and vocabulary contents of unit 1 will be included in the grammar and vocabulary test that you're doing next Monday.
Yesterday, we started unit 2 by learning some vocabulary about feelings. Remember that adjectives are normally followed by a certain preposition (about, with, at...) although in some cases more than one preposition is possible.
I've asked you to do some exercises from the book and from the workbook. The exercises are about word formation, in this case adding suffixes to verbs and adjectives in order to do nouns. For example: the verb confuse + the suffix "ion" forms the noun: confusion.
Here you have the answer key to the exercises. Check them at home and ask me your doubts on Monday.
